Formerly serving as the member of Criminal Investigation Branch, Varun Naidu conducted drug and major case management. He also served the role of primary investigator and file coordinator in files including marijuana grow operations, homicides, and other violent offences. Being the part of Delta Police Department, Varun Naidu served as the Sergeant in the Delta Police Drug Section. Here, he supervised seven constables in the areas of drug investigation. With an extensive expertise in operational policing as an investigator, supervisor, manager and executive, Varun Naidu possesses a diverse background in Patrol Division, Drug Section, Criminal Investigation Branch, Emergency Response Team and Community Policing. Serving as the Acting Inspector at the Patrol Division, Varun Naidu formerly served as the in charge of Patrol Division. Here, he managed first response priorities and services to the community. He also supervised four platoon shifts consisting of approximately 80 officers. As the in charge of Operational Support Branch, Varun managed Traffic Section, Vulnerable Sector, Community Policing, Victim Services, Community Relations and School Liaison Units.
