Varun Naidu formerly supervised Patrol shift as Staff Sergeant Watch Commander

With an extensive expertise in operational policing as an investigator, supervisor, manager and executive, Varun Naidu possesses a diverse background in Patrol Division, Drug Section, Criminal Investigation Branch, Emergency Response Team and Community Policing. With his core competency as a supervisor, Varun formerly supervised the Patrol shift as the Staff Sergeant Watch Commander at Delta Police department. Here, he was responsible for a team of seventeen constables and two sergeants conducting the patrol and uniform functions. Serving as the Acting Inspector at the Patrol Division, Varun Naidu formerly served as the in charge of Patrol Division. Here, he managed first response priorities and services to the community. He also supervised four platoon shifts consisting of approximately 80 officers. As the in charge of Operational Support Branch, Varun managed Traffic Section, Vulnerable Sector, Community Policing, Victim Services, Community Relations and School Liaison Units.
