Varun Naidu holds record of leading teams to meet strategic direction of organization

Holding a solid experience in operational policing, Varun Naidu serves as the investigator, supervisor, manager, and executive. He holds a diverse background in Patrol Division, Drug Section, Criminal Investigation Branch, Emergency Response Team, and Community Policing. Gaining adequate expertise and skills to be the part of Emergency Response Team, Varun conducted high risk operations that fell outside the skills, knowledge, and abilities of regular members such as warrant service, barricaded persons and hostage rescue.

Holding core competency in conducting investigations, Varun Naidu formerly served as the part of Criminal Investigation Branch. Here, he conducted drug and major crime investigations by utilizing the principles of major case management. In addition to it, he served as the primary investigator and file coordinator in the files including marijuana grow operations, homicides, and other violent offences. 

Varun Naidu holds a diverse background in community policing and Emergency Response Team. Being a pro in operation policing, Varun holds a proven record of leading teams to meet the strategic direction of an organization through change management, philosophies, and respect.

He formerly served as a sergeant in Delta Police Drug Section where he supervised seven constables in the areas of drug investigations. Besides, he provided oversight on all the investigations and developed strategies within the team in order to reduce the impact of drugs in the community through education, enforcement and community partnership.

Pertaining to his earlier profession, Varun Naidu served as the watch commander in Delta Police Department, he supervised the patrol shift where he was responsible for a team of seventeen constables and two sergeants conducting patrol and uniform functions. Be it the investigative or administrative matter, he provided the field support and guidance, along with drafting and delivering performance evaluations. 

Regarding his education credentials, Varun Naidu graduated from the University of British Columbia with Bachelor of Education. Pertaining to the awards he has received, he won the Oliver Thompson Memorial Award at the Police Academy. During his free time, Varun Naidu loves to watch sports especially NFL. Besides, he regularly goes to gym and has travelled a lot along with his family. Soon, he will join the Porsche club. He is quite fond of reading and watching movies.
