Varun Naidu provided constables with leadership and guidance on all matters

Being the part of Delta Police Department for years, Varun Naidu served as the inspector in charge of Operational Support Branch where he managed Traffic Section, Vulnerable Sector, Community Policing, Victim Services, Community Relations, and School Liaison Units. He ensured that the Operational Support Branch was adequately resourced and managed. 

Working in the Patrol Division, Varun responded to the calls for services as well as conducted investigations. He came forward with the problem solving initiatives to address the community concerns. Besides, he supervised the constables and provided them with the guidance and leadership on all investigative and operational matters.

Varun managed the Traffic Section, Vulnerable Sector, Community Policing, Victim Services, Community Relations, and School Liaison Units as the inspector in charge of Operational Support Branch. He considered it his responsibility to ensure that the Operational Support Branch was adequately resourced and managed.

Starting his career in operational policing with Patrol Division, Varun Naidu responded to the calls for services as well as conducted investigations. He came with the problem solving initiatives to address the community concerns. Besides, he supervised the constables and provided them with the guidance and leadership on all investigative and operational matters.

He has formerly been the part of Criminal Investigation Branch where he conducted drug and major crime investigations by making use of the principles of major case management. She served in the role of primary investigator and file coordinator in files including marijuana grow operations, homicides, and other violent offences. 

Pertaining to his education credentials, Varun Naidu graduated from the University of British Columbia with Bachelor of Education. Pertaining to the awards he has received, he won the Oliver Thompson Memorial Award at the Police Academy. 

During his free time, Varun loves to watch sports especially NFL. He regularly goes to gym and has travelled a lot along with his family. Besides, he will soon join the Porsche club. He is quite fond of reading and watching movies.
