consequences for communities, regions or the entire country, emergency
management involves a dynamic process of preparing for mitigating, responding
to and recovering from an emergency.

Mitigation
Mitigation
Mitigation is all about taking action prior to the next disaster. It involves analyzing the risks, reducing them and insuring against them. It is achieved through regulations, local ordinances and building practices.
Be prepared
It involves a continuous cycle of planning, managing, organizing, training, equipping, evaluating and improving the activities in order to ensure the effective coordination and the enhancement of capabilities of concerned organizations.
Emergency response
It includes the use of necessary emergency services and the first responders. It includes a first wave of core emergency services that include the firefighters, police and ambulance crews. It is the responsibility of the emergency response team to take the appropriate personal protective measures. Besides, the team is responsible for advising personnel in the area of any potential threat. Being the member of emergency response team demands you to make multiple emergency response plans for the specific incidents.
Recovery
It involves restoring the affected area to its original state. The efforts related to the recovery deal with the issues and decisions that are made after the immediate needs are met. It generally involves rebuilding destroyed property, re-employment, and the repair of essential infrastructure.
Thus, emergency response solely
relies on the emergency plans at all levels of organizations. Being highly
competent in emergency management, Varun
Naidu formerly. Being the part of the team, he conducted high risk
operations that fell outside the skills, knowledge and abilities of regular
members such as warrant service, barricaded persons and hostage rescue. Later
on, Varun was selected as the Team Leader of the Emergency response Team where
he supervised all tactical operations and coordinated training.
With the vast knowledge in
Emergency Response, Varun Naidu was
assigned the task of overseeing the Emergency Management Section and the Victim
Services Unit when he served in Inspector Strategic Services Branch at Delta
Police Department.
